Prime, PART-TIME

Prime is an organisation set up by Liverpool based artist Steven Renshaw, aimed at exploring the relationship between the employment artists take on to subsidise their practices and the work that they choose to make.

'Part-time' was the first project run by Prime, and involved commissioning three artists - Ellie Harrison (UK), Elizabeth Kearney (UK) and Joanna Spitzner (US) - to take on low-paid, low skill jobs for a month and to make new work in response to their experiences.
